Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment, be the face of our clinic, and ensure smooth center operations. You will handle scheduling, patient check-in, forms, co-pays, and office tasks while supporting a high-quality patient experience across our community clinics.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multilingual interaction when needed, and a flexible, friendly approach in a fast-paced health care setting.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary).
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in patients and assist with forms.
• Collect co-pays.
• Update patient information in the electronic medical record platform.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments in the EMR system.
• Manage phone lines, take messages, outbound calls as needed.
• Handle faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region occasionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
