Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment and make a positive first and last impression on patients. You will be the face of the clinic, handling check-in, forms, co-pays, and basic administrative tasks to support a smooth patient experience.

You’ll join the Service Team, report to the Practice Manager, and may float to other centers. Strong communication skills, multilingual ability, and US work authorization are valued for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities we serve.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information and making changes in electronic medical record platform.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments within electronic medical records platform.
• Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and outbound calls as instructed.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region periodically.
• Other duties as assigned.
