Job summary

CareSpot is hiring a Patient Services Advocate to create an exceptional patient experience from entry to exit at a CareSpot clinic. You will greet patients, answer calls, collect information, verify insurance, and guide registration to enable a smooth visit.

Role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to stay calm in busy clinical settings. Generous PTO and competitive pay are offered, with eligibility for full- or part-time schedules and comprehensive wellness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and supportive toward patients in busy or stressful situations.
• Two years' experience in a medical front office or customer service setting.
• Bonus points if you have medical insurance billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in.
• Answer incoming calls and determine callers' needs to provide resolutions.
• Assist with registration processes including verification of insurance and payment collection.
• Keep patients informed of wait times using the queuing process and ensure efficient visits.
• Record charges and payments to support billing and prepare the daily deposit and reconciliation log.
