NextCare Urgent Care in Abilene, Texas is seeking a Medical Front Office Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients in the clinic, handling registrations, scheduling, data entry into the EMR, and insurance documentation with a focus on excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of front desk experience in medical settings, plus strong multitasking and communication skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of registration or front office experience in a physician's office, hospital emergency department, or urgent care setting.
• Typing and computer proficiency in Windows-based software.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain personal and insurance data and input into EMR.
• Monitors patient flow and places patients into rooms as needed.
• Completes all insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Prepares daily deposits, reconciliation, and daily statistics.
• Ensures adequate stock of front office supplies and proper functioning of equipment.
• Answers telephone with quality customer service.
• Manages patient appointments scheduled via the NextCare website.
• Notifies clinic manager of any patient or employee safety concerns.
• Educates patients on NextCare services for their current or next visit.
• Cross-trains and assists back-office team as needed.
