Job summary

Penn Medicine in Philadelphia is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator for the Dermatology Clinic at the Perelman Center. You will support patient flow, scheduling, check-in/out, registrations, referrals and pre-authorizations, while ensuring a high level of patient and family-centered care.

As a liaison between staff and management, you will help supervise daily operations, assist in interviewing and training new hires, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED is required.
• 3+ years medical office experience required.
• Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Associate of Arts or Science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling and daily operations of assigned area, ensuring patient focus.
• Check in/out, patient registration, appointments, referrals, pre-authorizations.
• Act as liaison between staff and management to communicate performance expectations.
• Oversee training of new hires and participate in interviewing.
• Assist with surgery scheduling as needed and support physicians.
