Job summary

Connecticut GI, a division of GI Alliance, seeks a full-time Front Desk Coordinator for our Old Saybrook Care Center. It is the state's largest gastroenterology practice with 30+ centers and a TOP WORKPLACE repeatedly.

You will schedule visits, confirm appointments, update insurance and demographics, answer calls, and use Epic EMR. Strong communication and customer service are essential; medical front desk experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years of professional experience; front desk in medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule office visits and confirm appointments.
• Update patient insurance and demographic information.
• Answer incoming calls and document using Epic EMR.
• Process insurance authorizations when required.
• Monitor provider schedules and correct errors.
