Job summary

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC in Marion, IL is seeking a friendly Patient Experience Specialist to join our front office team. This full-time, in-office role focuses on scheduling, check-in/out, patient education, and coordinating with providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training preferred in medical office.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for the full shift.
• Strong written and verbal communication professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage appointments, including rescheduling missed visits.
• Register patients at check-in/out and ensure accurate records.
• Coordinate with patients/referring physicians for referrals.
• Document referrals in logs as directed.
• Schedule initial evaluations and follow-up visits per treatment plan.
• Verify insurance and prior authorizations with payors.
• Educate patients about coverage and payment responsibilities.
• Collect all monies due prior to visits (co-pays, deductibles, etc.).
• Answer incoming calls professionally and route messages as needed.
• Support clinic operations as assigned by Site Coordinator or Revenue Cycle.
