Job summary

ProgressiveHealth Rehabilitation, Inc in Jasper, IN is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist to manage front desk operations within our outpatient rehab setting. This in-office, full-time role focuses on scheduling, patient check-in/out, and coordinating with physicians on referrals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Past medical office experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and recapture appointments and reschedule as needed.
• Register patients at check-in/out and verify information.
• Coordinate with physicians to obtain referrals and document referrals.
• Schedule initial evaluations and follow-ups to align with treatment plans.
• Verify insurance coverage and ensure authorizations are obtained.
• Educate patients on coverage, responsibilities, and non-covered services.
• Collect copays, deductibles, and payments.
• Answer calls professionally and route messages as needed.
• Support clinic operations as assigned by Site Coordinator or Revenue Cycle team.
