Job summary

MyEyeDr. in Virginia Beach is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage the front desk during check-in/out and deliver a best-in-class patient experience. Training will be provided for insurance verification, scheduling, and patient outreach.

Some weekend and evening shifts are required as part of a fast-paced, patient-centric environment. You will collaborate with doctors and staff to ensure seamless service, grow through role-specific training programs, and participate in benefits

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception or customer-facing role supporting administrative duties.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while delivering best-in-class service.
• Flexible, nimble mindset with ability to wear multiple hats.
• Friendly, patient-centric demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out process experience that is timely, seamless and positive.
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options during check in/out.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients/walk-ins, schedule appointments and assist office staff as needed.
• Cross-train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians (varies by location).
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
