Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to manage front desk duties during check in/out and deliver personalized patient experiences. Training will be provided to learn about the vision care industry and our best-in-class patient services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role supporting administrative duties and clerical tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with a patient-centric approach.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage a fast-paced front desk environment.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and patient check-in/out processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience that is timely and positive.
• Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to help verify and educate patients on options at check-in/out.
• Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with Doctor availability.
• Multitask by managing multiple phone lines, greeting patients and walk-ins, scheduling appointments and supporting staff duties.
• Cross-train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to deliver a seamless patient experience.
