Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center of WNY, Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, verify insurance information, schedule and adjust appointments, and collect co-payments. The role emphasizes kindness, reliability, and teamwork to ensure a smooth patient flow across multiple sites, primarily at 300 Niagara St.

in Buffalo. You will work Monday through Friday between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., with travel to other Neighborhood sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English
• Spanish language skills preferred
• Able to learn new software and computer systems
• Strong customer service and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and verifies information at check-in
• Confirms appointment times, locations and providers; communicates delays
• Collects co-payments and adheres to cash handling policy
• Assists with opening/closing procedures and daily front desk tasks
