Athletico Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure smooth front-office operations, accurate patient intake, and effective financial clearance. You will collaborate with clinical teams and support revenue cycle performance while maintaining data integrity and HIPAA compliance.

This full-time role emphasizes exceptional patient interactions, EMR proficiency, and proactive communication with patients and referral sources to enhance the overall patient experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge and Technical Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience with warm greetings and issue resolution.
• Complete patient intake/registration with demographic verification and eligibility checks.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability.
• Use EMR systems and dashboards to track patient outcomes and support improvements.
• Coordinate communication of progress notes to referral sources in a timely manner.
• Support clinic engagement through patient milestones and community activities.
