Athletico Physical Therapy in Garner, NC seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data integrity and supporting revenue cycle performance.

Reporting to the Clinic Manager, you will collaborate with clinical teams and PES to resolve insurance or scheduling issues, manage EMR tools, and drive patient satisfaction through proactive engagement and accurate data handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with insurance verification and healthcare administration preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle payments and maintain data accuracy in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a seamless front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration with demographic and insurance info.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling and ensure provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing and Clinical ops to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR/scheduling dashboards to track data and improve processes.
• Communicate patient progress notes to referral sources timely.
• Support engagement with patient milestones and team activities.
• Participate in training to maintain front-office proficiency.
