Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare front desk or receptionist experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking skills.
• Comfort with computers, scheduling systems, EMR, email and basic spreadsheets.
• Professional, calm, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, phone calls.
• Review referrals, gather information, update patient records, and explain next steps.
• Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments and managing waitlists.
• Collect copays and balances accurately; basic payment reconciliation as needed.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all interactions.
