RET Physical Therapy Specialists in Bellevue is seeking a Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will create a welcoming first impression, manage check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone calls to keep operations smooth.

This role handles referrals, patient records, payments, and HIPAA privacy, contributing to a collaborative culture across Confluent Health affiliates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical front desk is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking and follow-up skills.
• Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets.
• Ability to discuss payments, scheduling and basic insurance information professionally.
• Calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
• Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps.
• Keep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits.
• Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation.
