You will be the friendly first voice and face for patients, handling check‑in, scheduling, insurance verification, and basic payments to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while staying organized.
Strong phone communication and professionalism under pressure.
Basic computer proficiency; comfortable with scheduling software and emails.
No prior medical experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
Manage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
Review, schedule, and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
Keep patient flow by confirming appointments, managing waitlists, and following up on future visits.
Collect copays and other payments accurately, including basic payment tracking when needed.
Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions.
