Cumberland Family Medical Center in Albany, KY seeks a friendly Front Desk / Clerical team member to greet patients, check in/out, answer phones, and schedule appointments.

You will verify information, register patients, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience preferred.
• General keyboarding and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors cheerfully.
• Answer telephone, triage calls, and maintain records of exam.
• Schedule appointments and referrals to other providers.
• Register patients, help with forms, and direct to staff.
• Complete encounter form upon arrival and checking.
• Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and office staff as needed.
• Maintain neat, professional work area.
• Follow established department policies.
• Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
