Qualifications

• Medical Office Assistant degree required.
• Associate’s degree plus 1 year of administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring medical terminology.
• High School diploma or GED or Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate with related experience.
• High School diploma or GED with two years of admin support in a clinical setting using medical terminology.
• High School diploma with one year of customer service and completion of a Roswell Park traineeship.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and assist patients and visitors in a busy ambulatory setting.
• Manage clinic schedules and coordinate appointments.
• Record physician orders accurately and securely.
• Guide patients through visits and assist with co-pay collections.
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient experiences and operations.
