Job summary

North Country Family Health Center in Watertown, TN is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our front desk team. You will welcome patients, book appointments, check in/out, handle payments, sliding fees, and help with insurance questions.

You will collaborate with PSRs, Finance, and Practice Administrators to keep patient flow smooth and provide excellent customer service in a compassionate healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Has a degree or certificate in office studies, business administration, or related field; experience may substitute.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical and dental terminology.
• Typing skills.
• Proficient with computers and software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive, energetic, quick learner.
• Adaptable to change and proactive in resolving problems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and serve as the face of the health center.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Check patients in and out and process payments.
• Assist patients with insurance and payment responsibilities.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries.
• Collaborate with PSRs, Finance, and Practice Administrators.
