Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or front office settings is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in, and room them for appointments to create a welcoming experience.
• Explain billing and insurance questions with clarity, professionalism, and empathy.
• Describe insurance coverage, EOBs, and out-of-pocket costs in a clear manner.
• Enter and update patient information and insurance details accurately.
• Answer phone calls promptly and direct or take messages as needed.
• Collect and process patient payments accurately and securely.
• Monitor emails, texts, and faxes for timely communication and follow-up.
• Support clinic staff with administrative tasks and maintain HIPAA compliance.
