Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment, greet patients, perform check-in, collect co-pays and manage administrative tasks. You will support clinic operations and ensure a high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

The role reports to the Practice Manager and may require occasional travel within the region. Strong language skills and Google Suite proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by our communities.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in and assist patients with forms.
• Collect co-pays and update records in EMR.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments in EMR.
• Answer and route phone calls; outbound calls as needed.
• Manage faxes in electronic fax system.
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome/Community areas.
• Occasional travel to other centers in the region.
