Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for patients and guests. You will handle check-ins, forms, co-pays, and EMR updates while coordinating appointments and phone calls to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The ideal candidate is friendly, flexible, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced clinic setting. Some college and bilingual abilities are preferred, with full‑time hours and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Checking in patients and assisting with forms.
• Collecting co-pays when necessary.
• Updating patient information in electronic medical records.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in EMR.
• Managing and multi-tasking phone lines and outbound calls.
• Handling faxes in electronic fax platforms.
• Keeping Welcome and Community Room areas clean.
• Performing daily administrative tasks as assigned.
