Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking a friendly Greeter to deliver outstanding customer service to patients, families, staff and visitors. This role includes safely transporting patients and assisting with transfers throughout the clinic campus.

The Greeter works at the front desk, stands and walks continuously, and may require weekend shifts. Strong communication and a patient-first attitude are essential to ensure a safe, welcoming experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to transfer patients to and from wheelchairs and push wheelchairs weighing over 300 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous wheelchair transportation for all Springfield Clinic patients.
• Exemplify excellent customer service towards patients, families, staff and visitors.
• Maintain lobby area: keep it clean and safe, including wheelchairs.
• Respond promptly to patient transportation requests and assist with transfers.
• Work schedule may include Saturday.
