Job summary

Kansas Health System's Liberty Clinic seeks a Patient Service Representative to ensure a smooth patient experience at the front desk, handling check-ins, scheduling, and MyChart activation. The role supports registration, insurance verification, and payment collection in a busy ambulatory setting.

The PSR collaborates with care teams, assists with documenting visits, and helps coordinate follow-up activities as needed to maintain seamless patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service or health care experience.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• College coursework toward an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Clerical/registration and/or customer service in health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule referrals and appointments in Epic Cadence.
• Register patients with demographics and insurance verification.
• Collect copays and process payments at point of service.
• Assist patients with MyChart activation and online check-in.
• Provide front desk coverage and greeting/check-in for patients.
