Job summary

Gonzaba Medical Group in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Patient Greeter to warmly welcome patients, families, and visitors as they arrive. You will answer questions, provide information, and direct people to the correct clinic location, helping create a welcoming atmosphere.

The role requires excellent communication in English and Spanish, strong organization, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Experience in a clinic, doctor’s office or hospital preferred (1 year).
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and patients and direct them to services.
• Stand/walk for long periods during shifts.
• Assist patients by obtaining wheelchairs and other services.
• Escort or transport patients needing help within the clinic.
• Assist with entering/exiting vehicles as needed.
• Arrange transportation for patients when necessary.
• Keep front driveway clear for drop-off and pick-up.
• Contact Security/Facilities for assistance when needed.
• Monitor the clinic entrance appearance.
• Transfer patients safely between positions; assist with wheelchairs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
