Job summary

Qualifications

• Greet patients and verify identity and demographics.
• Process registrations and collect payment as applicable.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy.
• Strong bilingual communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Obtain ID and insurance cards from the patient and scan into the Athena system.
• Validate ID and address, confirm patient and alternate phone numbers; obtain email when available.
• Validate insurance information and confirm PCP as necessary.
• Review consent and registration paperwork per policy; ensure documents are current.
• Collect fees/co-pays at registration and issue receipts from the payment system.
• Check patients into appointments and coordinate with clinical staff.
• Maintain a clean, professional front office and assist with questions or referrals.
