Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a casual Welcome Desk Associate for the Downtown Campus to greet patients, families, and visitors and provide accurate information in person or by phone. You will coordinate with departments and ensure a calm, welcoming environment in the Welcome Services area.

This role requires strong communication, reliable problem solving, and flexibility to cover weekends and various shifts. Prior office or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of office customer service experience.
• Heavy telephone and customer interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information in person or by phone to patients, families, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct COVID screening at Information Desks across the downtown campus.
• Ensure visitors wear PPE and PPE is available at public entrances.
• Assist with ED and inpatient visitor processing per policy.
