Clarkson Eyecare, Inc. is seeking a Front Office Specialist to be the first point of contact, setting the tone for a world class Total Patient Experience.

You will also perform the necessary administrative responsibilities needed to create a smooth check-in/out experience for patients. This role requires strong customer service, experience in medical offices (optometry/ophthalmology preferred), proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while

Qualifications

• 1 year or equivalent experience interacting with patients/customers
• Medical office experience preferred; optometry/ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
• Must be able to pass background check and provide work eligibility in the United States
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, manage check-in/check-out with a courteous, professional demeanor
• Answer phones and provide excellent customer service during all patient encounters
• Handle insurance authorizations verification and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
• Maintain patient flow, schedule appointments, and support office operations daily
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies; perform general office duties as assigned
