Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan in Dallas is seeking a Guest Services representative to warmly welcome patients, families, vendors and visitors, guiding them to the right departments and providing general information.

You will act as a patient/family liaison, resolving issues during entry and exit, coordinating with hospital teams, and ensuring a positive, compassionate experience while upholding Parkland's policies.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of experience in a healthcare or customer service environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to diffuse emotionally charged situations and provide compassionate service.
• Strong multitasking and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides a warm welcome to patients, families, vendors, visitors, and staff upon arrival to and departure from the hospital.
• Acts as a patient/family liaison to identify resources and ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinates information collection with hospital departments to refer traffic correctly.
• Coordinates concierge information and resources for families and transmits information from staff to families.
• Answers telephones and provides general information regarding the hospital.
• Maintains positive working relationships to facilitate communication.
• Identifies ways to improve work processes and customer satisfaction.
• Stays current on customer service developments by attending seminars/workshops.
