Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Patient Concierge to create an exceptional patient experience and support practice-based administrative and patient services.

The role involves greeting patients, assisting with check-in/out, scheduling, real-time eligibility verification, MyChart education, and responding to inquiries with compassion. Prior customer service experience is preferred; High School diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Preference for graduates of administrative training programs.
• Minimum one year practice-based experience or in similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Focus on compliance and service orientation; strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients with polite, prompt, compassionate service.
• Performs clerical tasks: check-in/out, scheduling, eligibility verification, and education on MyChart.
• Delivers concierge service in waiting area and supports kiosk check-in.
• Assists with practice opening/closing, mail, deliveries, cash handling, and fax indexing.
• Supports team by addressing messages and coordinating with Access Center.
• Facilitates time-sensitive clinical inquiries with care team.
