Job summary

Grant Medical Center is seeking a Service Excellence Ambassador for weekend hours to provide exceptional customer service to patients, families and visitors. The role includes guiding visitors, answering questions, and assisting with mobility and special needs while maintaining confidentiality.

The ambassador will work within the Guest Services and Ambassadors department to resolve concerns, escalate issues when needed, and support lobby and information desk operations in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Experience in a consumer advocacy or service role is preferred.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution and interpersonal communication concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff.
• Assist with directions, escort activities, and information desk oversight.
• Answer multi-line phone calls and route to appropriate departments.
• Advocate for patients by investigating concerns and expediting admissions or resolution of delays.
• Support cleanliness and order in lobbies and surrounding areas.
