Job summary

Advocate Health's Guest Services at Advocate Christ Medical Center seeks a part-time Guest Services Associate to assist guests, provide information, and resolve issues to ensure a positive patient and visitor experience. The role requires weekend availability and interacting with patients, families and hospital staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating information, assisting with transportation and directions, and maintaining high standards of customer service in a fast-paced medical center

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Some knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Basic CPR qualified preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests and direct them to appropriate departments.
• Provide information about hospital services and visiting hours.
• Assist with patient needs and concerns and help resolve issues when possible.
• Act as a liaison between guests and hospital areas.
• Conduct rounds to ensure guests receive expected service and follow up as needed.
• Assist in ensuring service standards and patient safety initiatives.
