Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Branch Coordinator to deliver exceptional customer service by phone and in person. You will work with patients, providers, and team members to ensure orders are processed timely and accurately and to maximize health plan benefits.

You will collect documentation for insurance billing, coordinate authorizations, process payments, and support a compliant and efficient branch operation in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year related work experience.
• Preferred: two years’ office/healthcare/call center experience and familiarity with multi-line phones.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls, provide information, troubleshoot, and coordinate resolutions.
• Process branch orders, verify insurance, and confirm deliveries.
• Gather documentation to bill health insurance plans and obtain authorizations.
• Review patient accounts and collect documentation to bill plans.
• Collect payments, reconcile receivables, and submit to the lock box.
• Make outbound patient satisfaction calls.
• May download data from devices and perform basic equipment tests.
• Other duties as required.
