Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a friendly information ambassador to greet guests, share basic schedules, and support a positive hospital experience. You will assist with visitor management, document data, and coordinate with departments to ensure patient and visitor satisfaction.

A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required. Familiarity with basic medical terminology is helpful, and some roles may involve PPE distribution and basic safety tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly, provide accurate information, and support a positive image.
• Assist with the visitor management program, document data, track location, and conduct temperature checks.
• Use computers to access daily patient schedules and provide appointment information.
• Handle a high volume of calls from patients, visitors, vendors, and staff.
• Distribute PPE to employees, patients and visitors.
