Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules to optimize use of providers, rooms and equipment.
• Perform schedule maintenance and coordinate care alternatives for patients.
• Communicate with patients and staff to ensure adherence to treatment plans.
• Assist Practice Manager with data collection and analysis of physician productivity and resource use.
• Help resolve billing issues and obtain pre-certifications or referrals when needed.
• Register patients and schedule/co-ordinate appointments.
• Provide patient education materials as needed.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, staff and external departments.
• Answer inquiries related to practice operations; follow up with patients for testing and prescriptions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
