Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Patient Relations Specialist Associate in Grand Rapids. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in healthcare related field preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience in Quality improvement, Patient Relations, Patient Experience, Customer Service Medical Field.
• 1 year of experience with participation on improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Answer intake calls and manage database entries and survey responses.
• Receive and address complaints and grievances from patients or their representatives.
• Coordinate with care teams to connect patients with appropriate Patient Relations staff.
• Assist with grievance resolution and letter distribution to patients or staff.
• Support service recovery for non-clinical concerns and maintain records and reports.
• Participate in safety initiatives and complete required safety competencies.
