Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Patient Relations Specialist Associate to join our team in a hybrid work model with onsite presence four days per week. You will help patients and families feel heard, supported, and valued by coordinating service recovery and connecting them with care teams.

In this role you will handle intake calls, maintain records, support grievance resolution, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in healthcare field preferred.
• 1 year experience in Quality improvement, Patient Relations, Patient Experience or Customer Service in Medical Field preferred.
• 1 year of participation on improvement initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with day-to-day operations including intake calls, database management and surveys.
• Supports a central grievances process by receiving complaints and guiding to the right team.
• Aids in service recovery for non-clinical concerns and administrative support duties.
• Maintains updated records and prepares required reports.
• Participates in safety initiatives and completes related competencies.
