Job summary

University of Miami seeks a Patient Experience Specialist to bridge patients with the health system, handling feedback and complaints with empathy and precision.

You will support patients, families, and staff, perform rounds, and escalate complex issues to senior specialists. The role requires collaboration with clinicians and administration while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence support to patients and families, improving communication and satisfaction.
• Perform rounds and document sensitive information in the feedback module database.
• Act as liaison for patients, addressing questions and escalating complex complaints to senior specialists.
• Investigate and follow up with patients and families to resolve cases and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff while adhering to policies and regulations.
