Job summary

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist 1 to oversee the patient care experience on their assigned unit. You will respond to patient concerns, coordinate service recovery, and escalate issues as needed to the Patient Experience Representatives.

In this role you will work closely with unit staff, risk and compliance, and quality teams to maintain a compassionate, family-centered care environment and ensure exceptional patient experiences daily.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with any relevant certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-the-moment service recovery and assist patients and families as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams and Patient Experience staff to resolve concerns.
• Maintain a positive, patient-centered environment and support unit operations.
