Job summary

University of Miami is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist 1 to oversee the patient care experience on their assigned unit or ambulatory site and intervene to recover service in the moment. The role collaborates with Patient Experience Representatives, nursing staff, and leadership to resolve concerns, promote PFCC and maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

Provide service excellence support to patients and families across the care journey.
Address patient concerns in the moment and participate in service recovery.
Collaborate with Patient Experience Representatives and care teams to resolve issues.
Promote PFCC principles and contribute to a compassionate environment.
Interprets and contextualizes patient feedback and survey data for teams.
Maintain unit safety and adhere to policies while handling inquiries via multiple channels.
Support staff with training and coaching on patient-centered care practices.
