Job summary

Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, UT, seeks a Patient Experience Specialist to be the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, smooth check-in and follow-up care experience.

You will coordinate appointments, verify insurance, explain treatment plans and payments, maintain accurate records, and support the clinical team to improve patient flow and service. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred for patient communication.
• Experience in dental or medical office is advantageous.
• Familiarity with dental insurance and patient billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients, creating a welcoming experience from check-in through follow-up care.
• Coordinate appointments, treatment schedules, and patient communications to support clinic operations.
• Verify insurance coverage, explain treatment plans and financial responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate patient records, consents, and account information.
• Process payments and resolve account discrepancies for a positive financial experience.
• Partner with providers and teams to improve patient flow and service.
• Support onboarding and training, and contribute to process improvements.
