Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Patient Experience Liaison to address patient and family needs within the hospital setting. This role collaborates with nurses, physicians, and administration to resolve concerns and improve the overall experience.

You will gather patient priorities, communicate findings to the care team, and help implement action plans to enhance satisfaction and outcomes throughout the hospital stay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts targeted rounding to optimize care plans and dispositions.
• Establishes rapport with patients and families to learn priorities and preferences.
• Responds to complaints and communicates issues to appropriate staff.
• Works with departments to limit or resolve delays in service and informs patients.
• Uses trend analysis to advise departments on service action plans.
• Triages issues to management to improve patient experience.
