MusC Health seeks a Patient Experience Liaison to work with patients and families to address concerns during hospital stays. The role collaborates with physicians, nurses and administration to improve the overall patient experience and streamline communication across departments.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, completion of a medical assisting program, and preferred patient care experience with current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conducts targeted rounding to optimize care plan and dispositioning based on patient care needs.
• Establishes rapport with patient and family to learn what matters most in their hospital experience and communicates findings to the healthcare team.
• Responds to complaints and concerns and communicates issues to appropriate staff.
• Works with departments to limit or resolve delays in service and communicates delays to patients and families.
• Uses analysis of trends to advise departments to develop service action plans.
• Triages issues to management to ensure better service to customers.
• Interacts with patients/families to gather feedback and improve satisfaction.
• Identifies and implements systems to improve communication within the department.
