Copley Hospital Multi-Specialty Clinic in Morrisville, VT is seeking a Patient Engagement Specialist to ensure smooth flow of patients into outpatient services. You will communicate with staff, patients and physicians to arrange appointments and collect demographic, insurance and co-payment information at service time.

The role is based in the Women's Center with cross-training to Cardiology, Urology, General Surgery and Neurology as training allows.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associates degree in business, secretarial science, or similar (desirable).
• At least 2 years of medical office experience as administrative assistant, scheduler, or similar.
• Excellent telephone skills and ability to multitask; organized and able to follow up; good patient rapport.

Aufgaben

• Answer calls within 3 rings and handle scheduling related tasks.
• Register patients and collect co-payment information accurately.
• Obtain and verify patient information for pre-registration.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and communicate with patients and testing services.
• Enter charges and resolve non-patient paperwork and related tasks.
