Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Services Lead for the East Cooper Hospital Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, SC. The role coordinates patient meal service, supervises dining associates, and ensures dietary needs and safety standards are met.

The position offers a full-time schedule, with hours Monday through Friday and rotating weekends; pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly and read safety rules and manuals.
• Experience with hospital ADT or similar systems.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push carts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Patient Dining Program services to meet objectives.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates and assist with menu selections and tray delivery/pick-up.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences.
• Interact with nursing to monitor daily patient meal selections and tray processes.
• Address patient needs promptly following department procedures.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets or calorie counts.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Comply with HACCP, health, sanitation and regulatory standards.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports and lead GR8 Start meetings.
