Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nurses to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble and deliver meals according to patient selections, retrieving trays on schedule.
• Follow HIPAA and facility policies to protect patient confidentiality and rights.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines in food handling and sanitation of work stations.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted or special diets.
• Communicate issues to appropriate staff promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports per Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Comply with all health and sanitation regulations at the facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
