Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for full-time shifts in Birmingham, AL. The role involves assisting patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring dietary guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsabilités

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection in a timely and accurate manner.
• Retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies and HACCP guidelines.
