Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for Germantown, TN. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and support dietary needs within a hospital setting.

Position requires good English literacy, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Shifts include two 12-hour and two 6-hour days with some weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies and sensitivities; respect cultural, ethnic and religious preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays according to each patient’s menu selection on schedule.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients on specific diets with dietitians as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.
