Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Newport, TN is hiring a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide). You will assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet dietary needs, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and timing on trays. Weekend shifts are required.

The role requires basic reading/writing in English, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Training will cover HACCP and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutrition requirements.
• Assemble, deliver and pick up meals based on patient selections.
• Ensure meals are delivered at the correct time and temperature.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
