Qualifikationen

• The ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and push food delivery carts.

Aufgaben

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Comply with regulatory standards and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for handling food and maintaining cleanliness.
• Adhere to infection control policies and department procedures.
• Assist dietitians with patients on restricted or liquid diets and calorie counts.
• Communicate problems to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete all required reports and adhere to sanitation regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
